Therefore, if the real bay window is used as a desk, the tabletop must protrude at least 30cm in order to be used normally.

First of all, it is not suitable for fake window, the reason is the same as the desk, it is not worth the loss, it is better to directly use the extension of the room, put on the stool, the most practical.

Second, do not do well with the heel; when the person is sitting, the foot is to extend backwards into the seat 5 to 25 cm ↓

Therefore, the bay window change to deck, the seat surface must protrude at least 10cm, and it will not be squatted when sitting up.

If you don't want to make a convex face, you can do it with a bevel.

So when you make your home's bay window, be sure to consider this ergonomic problem.

In particular, this design point is only applicable to relatively short units. If your home's floating window sill itself is particularly high, more than 65cm, you don't have to make it stand out because the legs are basically straight.

Thirdly, the height is different, suitable for different functions; first popularize the height of the seats in different scenes. Generally, the sitting height of the sofa is 40cm~45cm, and the height of the chair is also 43cm~45cm. Only the bar stool can achieve 60cm or more, and some can even Up to 90cm high.

If your home's bay window is too high, more than 75cm, be sure to add a foot pedal below the bay window, which is a simple stainless steel pole, so that when you sit up, there is a place to put your feet.

Fourth, use a small table or a round table

There is a problem with the bay window deck, that is, the chair can't move. It is necessary to move the table, and the table is very inconvenient to move. Therefore, it is best to leave 40cm for people to pass through, so the table should be smaller.

If you really need to hold it, it is recommended to use a round table, so that the size can be increased by the size, and the seat can be prevented from hitting the waist.
